Bio: DJ Cat

David M. Domena aka DJ Cat is the creator and programmer
of WGVR Radio New York / G.V. Radio – Established in 2005.

He is also a Radio Host on WGVR as well.

David, a long time listener of 92.7 WLIR since 1982
has a deep passion for Classic New Wave
Gothic Rock, and Cutting Edge Alternative Music from today.

After the demise of WLIR in 2004
David had wanted to continue the music somehow.
After teaching himself website design, and audio techniques
G.V. Radio was born in 2005.

Due to personal setbacks, David was forced to shut G.V. Radio down in 2013.
But in 2019, David re-deployed WGVR Radio New York,
with outstanding results.

WGVR Radio New York, currently heard “Around the World”,

plays a Mix of Alternative Rock, Indie Rock, Gothic Rock, Modern Rock,
Syth-pop, Industrial, Underground Hits, as well as Night Club Favorites.

You can tune into G.V. Radio throughout the day,
to listen to DJ Cat Sets playing music from the late 70’s, all the way up to
cutting edge Modern Day Releases from across the Globe.

DJ Cat also has two Daily Sets;

The Classic 80’s Set with DJ Cat: every day from 12 noon to 2pm.

The Gothic Graveyard Set with DJ Cat: every day from 10pm to 11pm.
